i recently bought a hair straightener, now before you come up with all these crazy concoctions in your head about how superficial and materialistic i’ve become, hear me out! (or just still judge me and then continue reading hehe)
okay, i’ve never really thought about my appearance throughout all of middle school and halfway through high school. it was strange to hear my friends talk about their weekly run to the nearest shopping mall. i literally had four pairs of pants to last me all those 5 years. amazing huh? (why i suddenly decided that i looked like a hobo during my junior year versus the first day of middle school, i do not know…) and so this is my excuse for my recent purchased item.
anyway,
so i relunctanly bought a hair straightener because i felt like it. that’s right, big news everyone, i am a girl and half the things i do are on a whim. haha.
it turned out to be the second best decision i have ever made (the first being the decision to do nothing but gain weight for the rest of my life, trust me, it’s pretty awesome).
yes, i do know that my hair is very straight in comparison to other hair types, but it happens to be wavy as well.
this hair straightener allows me to flip my hair towards my face instead of out in less than 10 minutes. it’s glorious. i love it. i love love love it. i may love it more than food. actually no, i can never love anything more than food (that is a subject i shall delve into one day soon)

admit it, bathrooms are the best place to take pictures of yourself because of the wonderful lighting and secrecy. you know it, and i know it. (shower curtains are a lovely bland cream)
ya’ll know that i’m not afraid to put on an unattractive face!

DUDE I hate when my hair flips out instead of in. Does a hair straightener really help? I may just buy one.. hahaha
