birthday cakes and cupcakes
the first time i made a buttercream frosting, it came out realllll funny. as in, once it started to curdle i the mixure, i stopped mixing it and thought that i had done something wrong for it to not combine properly and form into a delicious smooth buttery texture.

it is SO easy to just throw words at someone to sound smart/loving/wise/annoyed/etc.
there are only oh so many words that can describe a specific type of characteristic/feeling; so when people start to exploit those words, then that word starts to sound cheap, and desensitized to whoever is listening.
